Latest Update - Submission Of Pcr Test Results Upon Arrival At Turkey
Starting from 29 December 2020 21:00 UTC hours, all passengers coming to Turkey by any means of air transport that are 6 years old and older will be required to submit a negative SARS-CoV-2 PCR test result done within the last 72-hours prior to their entrance to Turkey. Passengers that do not show negative SARS-CoV-2 PCR test result will not be accepted to flight.
This requirement is not applicable for transit and transfer passengers any more. Moreover, there will be no PCR requirement and quarantine for the flight crew, truck drivers as well as seamen who are considered as "key personnel" by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
On the other hand, starting from 30 December 2020 UTC 00:00 hours, passengers coming to Turkey by any means of land or sea transport will be subject to provide negative SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests done within the last 72-hours prior to their entrance to Turkey. Passengers who do not provide negative PCR test will be allowed to stay in quarantine at their own address (house, hotel, etc.) that they have declared. Those who do not declare any address in Turkey will be quarantined at the places selected by local health authorities. For all the passengers in quarantine, PCR tests will be performed on the 7th day and quarantine process will be ended for those having negative test results. Passengers with positive test results will be treated in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines of the Turkish Ministry of Health.
The measures will be in force until 1 March 2021.
